Snow day!

In the North of England, or for that matter any suburban area outside of London, they collectively roll their eyeballs at Londoners’ excitement for snow. It’s just that, being in the microclimate that is the City, snow doesn’t settle. It’s an event.

After the event, unlike the rest of the country, we’re not dealing with days of slush and ice because, generally, as quickly as it came, it goes.
